Dr. Chestnut Greitens writes and testifies on China’s state security

On February 20th, Dr. Chestnut Greitens testified before the U.S.-China Economic & Security Review Commission during a hearing on “An Axis of Autocracy? China’s Relations with Russia, Iran, and North Korea“. During a “Military & Security Cooperation” panel, she spoke on China’s emergence as a global security provider and the tools they employ. Dr. Chestnut Greitens also published a piece for the China Leadership Monitor. The article, “Counter-Espionage and State Security: The Changing Role of China’s Ministry of State Security”, examines the changing organization, legal authorities, and work of the Ministry of State Security.
