Lin Le

Post-Doctoral Fellow | America in the World Consortium

Lin Le is an America in the World Consortium Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of
Texas, Austin. His research aims to provide new perspectives and understandings on
elite politics, authoritarian governance, and foreign policy-making in communist China,
as well as the shifting dynamics and patterns of great power politics, with a particular
focus on US-China relations.

Lin completed his Ph.D. in Government at Cornell University, and previous degrees at
Stanford University (M.A. in East Asian Studies), the University of Washington, Seattle
(M.A. in China Studies) and Shanghai International Studies University (B.A. in
Broadcast Journalism). He previously worked as a case writer for the Leadership
Academy for Development program at the Center on Democracy, Development and the
Rule of Law, Stanford University.
