This fall, APP faculty affiliate Dr. Tse-Min Lin‘s writing was published in multiple outlets. The first article, “Public Goods, Expressive Values, and Protest Participation: Evidence from a Conjoint Experiment in Hong Kong” was co-authored by Theodore Charm and published in Political Research Quarterly. The paper discusses collective action and analyzes protest participation and its motives. Read it here. The second article, co-authored by Chun-Ying Wu and Theodore Charm, was first published in the Journal of Contemporary China. “When Independence Meets Reality: Symbolic and Pragmatic Politics in Taiwan” investigates political and voting preferences in Taiwan.
